Perm Oblast, Russia Prohibits Advertising for Electronic Cigarette Sales

According to international media Sobaka, Perm Oblast in Russia has officially implemented a ban on non fixed trading partners( НТО) Regulations on external sales and advertising of electronic cigarettes. Perm Oblast is the first region in Russia to implement such restrictions.
Violators of this regulation will face corresponding penalties: fines for officials range from 15000 to 20000 rubles; For legal entities, fines range from 50000 to 100000 rubles and may result in confiscation of property in administrative investigations. This regulation includes the sale of tobacco products themselves and their sales in the hands of merchants.
The regulation also stipulates that shop owners in Perm are prohibited from setting up signs and artistic lighting facilities to promote the sale of e-cigarettes.
