Recently, the Telegraph Channel of the Khabarovsk Regional Legislative Council in Russia stated that the region will not implement a ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes, and it believes that this measure is unrealistic.
Members of parliament emphasized that electronic cigarettes are now considered equal to other nicotine containing products, and all restrictions comply with tobacco smoking related bans. They reasonably infer that the ban will not have the expected effect and may lead to the sale of unauthorized goods.
One of the main reasons for the widespread use of e-cigarettes in children and adolescents is the lack of parental supervision and encouraging behavior.
The Russian Consumer Rights Protection Supervision Administration is responsible for supervising the implementation of sales regulations.
